Rian, Brent and their dad went fishing this morning at Potholes Resevoir. Everyone stayed at our house last night so they could get an early start. As you can see, it was a successful trip. Rian's dad caught a whopping 4 pound smallmouth bass right away and Brent's catch may have been the smallest, but it still broke his pole, yes, his pole snapped in half! They had a great time doing some of their favorite things, spending time together and of course, fishing. The fisherman cleaned the bounty and Rian's mom cooked them up for us for a very fresh and tasty lunch. Yum!

Catch of the day!

I don't know that a fish is worth a broken rod unless it looks like Dad's fish! : )
